INGREDIENTS:
1.paal sura meen(white shark fish)-1/2 kg
2.Onion(chopped)-1
3.Green chillies-2
4.Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
5.Mustard seeds-1 tsp
6.Urad dhal-1 tsp
7.Curry leaves-10
8.Garlic(chopped) – 5
9.Ginger (crushed)- 1 inch piece
10.Oil-2 tsp
11.Salt –to taste
12.Coriander leaves for garnishing
METHOD:
1.Cut the fish into medium size pieces.
2.In a vessel ,boil the water and add the fish pieces to it (pieces should completely immerse in the water).After 7-8 minutes of boiling ,turn off the stove.
3.After it is cooled, remove the outer skin and bone. Mash it
4.Heat a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, wait till it crackles, add urad dhal, curry leaves, chopped garlic, ginger,green chillies and onion. Saute it till onion turns golden brown in color .
5.Now add mashed fish ,turmeric powder ,salt and mix well.
6.Stir well for 5 minutes .Remove from the flame.
7.Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot as side dish.
